Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

I love receiving letters, cards and postcodes.

Often received; if written by someone on holiday; days after that person has returned home.

Use this space however you like as though you are writing a letter to someone with whom you relate to in real life.

You might want to say something to that person, or persons and not be given the opportunity.

Families can be so very judgemental and cause much hurt and pain.

This is a way of writing to tell someone how you truly feel; good or bad.

Just read along if this is not your style.

Carry on with your own preference of using the forums.

This is just an idea.

Sometimes we do not know that we might enjoy something different unless we try.

Writing letters can be very therapeutic and a special way of releasing pent up feelings without the person knowing.

Lastly, in writing a letter, you need not put their name or title.

You might like to address the letter as dear friend, or dear family member; dear doctor; dear psychiatrist; dear pet.

Think outside of the square and write about what you would really like to say.

Good luck

Sophia

The little girl practising her piano lessons within the castle where a Professor X lives..Megs has provided a picture of Professor earlier.

A cook works far too hard and is often far too busy to respond as is worn out @Shaz51 who might just want to leave a picture of herself and choose a name or like to be called ...Cook...or Cookie or whatever sits well with you our lovely Shaz...We know how busy you are so no guilt please....self care remember...

Little Bee might you find a picture...

Gumnut bub we have one might you like to add another one and add yourself as a piano teacher? Or again however you want to fit in..

Megs @Oaktree a picture of what Megs might look like in the story focussing on her treasure?

Horrace do you want me to revive the costume Horrace from yonks ago or would you like to redress Horrace yourself and provide a picture @Adge

Posts will overlap of course as people respond at same time with different lengths of wording...

Hello @Sophia1

I just read your story, prepared on the 25th Aug, and posted yesterday, I understand with Meg's assistance, for which I am very pleased. Your post is the first item on the site that I have read today, because I wanted to read it without any distraction, and I am pleased that I have. Thank you.

The word imagery, and pictures they evoke, are really lovely. You appear to me to have the very special skill and art of developing the story line and creating a feeling and sense of suspense and anticipation.

I hope today is a really lovely day for you.

With My Very Best Wishes

@HenryX

oh wow @Oaktree

You are very innovative...

I have just received a square instead of the all familiar triangle...

said square contains a faded red circle with a line within?

Resembles a road sign again...

not sure..

should say crossroads laugh...as we are working out where we are...where we have been and where we are going..

hopefully all will be revealed tomorrow when the square with the circle with the line through it emerges into an image of possibly Megs?..

We are making progress aren't we....

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Thank you @HenryX

Thank you for reading my lengthy novel within a fiction within a creative writing group...laugh..

Yes oh I was quite beyond myself after such time spent....then a female knight in shining armour...recently polished with the name of Megs I believe...rescued me..

So easy....yet such a nightmare for me..

Thank you for your kind words also...

I genuinely want to involve everyone..help them to feel welcome and most of all valued and included...

I try...

Today is a day of rest....hopefully some garden time..

I have had a very traumatic week...uncertainty in the background raising major concerns...

so am setting personal boundaries....taking prn only in extreme moments

Writing is a way of allowing myself to be me in the midst of storms all around me..

So your words have perfect timing and reinforce what I am trying to do for myself and others..

💛 Sunshine for you..

PS Have you met

@Sophia1

It brought tears to my eyes to read your little extension story.

The little girl would like to remain nameless, and she is grateful to the professor/father/uncle/friend for allowing her to stay. She does her best to entertain herself and finds Little Bee, Sooty, and Horrace Bat all wonderful company.

@Flax @HenryX @Oaktree @Exoplanet

At the moment she is eating from her blue bowl. Thanks cook @Shaz51

She is not sure why she is so old fashioned, maybe it is true she is a time traveller. The piano lessons are occasional as they were in real life, Gumnut must be very busy. but she does like to tinkle the ivories most days if she cannot get outside to wonder freely. She is practising From a Wigwam like Zoe ...

Glad this bee is not in her bonnet, but doing what he is meant to do!
