Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

I love receiving letters, cards and postcodes.

Often received; if written by someone on holiday; days after that person has returned home.

Use this space however you like as though you are writing a letter to someone with whom you relate to in real life.

You might want to say something to that person, or persons and not be given the opportunity.

Families can be so very judgemental and cause much hurt and pain.

This is a way of writing to tell someone how you truly feel; good or bad.

Just read along if this is not your style.

Carry on with your own preference of using the forums.

This is just an idea.

Sometimes we do not know that we might enjoy something different unless we try.

Writing letters can be very therapeutic and a special way of releasing pent up feelings without the person knowing.

Lastly, in writing a letter, you need not put their name or title.

You might like to address the letter as dear friend, or dear family member; dear doctor; dear psychiatrist; dear pet.

Think outside of the square and write about what you would really like to say.

Good luck

Sophia

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Emelia8

Hello Emelia,

I believe, that you should be convinced, that your attention to detail, for such an event, will really be appreciated by all patrons to the concert. That would, in part, be because at such events it is always appreciated when the providers show such attention to detail. Any provider doing so, will be known to have, not only seen to the detail in appearance of what they present, but also the content.

As am I also sure, that it is, as a result of you having been known to take such care, that you are, in fact, known as a good sandwich maker. I likewise, believe that the same would be true of any other food preparation that you were to offer.

Another aspect to consider, is that many people share with you, to greater or lesser degrees, some aspects of OCD, that will, in part, be evident through their appreciation of your work.

With My Very Best Wishes

Incredible how haunting it is to hear the singing of those prisoners.

The Mississipi river has so many stories and songs.

Tommy Johnson

Bessie Smith

Louis Armstrong

@Appleblossom

I love blues music .

Many great singers

New Orleans was the only place I have wanted to visit in USA.

I cannot see international travel on my list to do anymore sadly.

The image of the Sacred Chant Circle emulates very well our group of animals, birds, insects.

Would be lovely to introduce a special evening event at some stage based on this.

🤎

@Oaktree @HenryX @Adge @Shaz51 @Emelia8 @Exoplanet @Flax @Lilaca and others who have been here since the beginning.

Will not keep on tagging you as I wish for you to land back here to join in, observe, feel welcome at any time if you choose to do so. I also want to give you your space and respect that you know where you want to be

Hello @Flax

LOL my friend @Adge

I think I've created a monster with Ariadne. Diamond taste with a Kmart bank account.

Cost wise, think nothing under $1000 - shoes, handbags, pants. Not sure but I think the handbags start hitting >$20,000. The shoes are cheap at $1500.

I've just had an idea....Sooty goes shopping in Hollywood with Horrace and brings along fashion consultant Tigger while Geoffrey Rush analyses Paris, London and NY prices. Will have to give it some thought. Add in Tigger's motorbike, a secret garden, and a jam session what could possibly go wrong!

And I like @Oaktree 's purple blanket - can tie that in with Imperial purple - only Caesar's could wear purple garments back in 100 A.D.

Once again Sooty goes way off the plot .

Might just hide under that Imperial purple blanket for awhile while I have a think.

Sooty the black, bilingual, cutarian, haut couture bandit cat.

PS @Oaktree you take care. 🌷🌼🌻

@Shaz51 @Meggle @Flax @Emelia8 @HenryX @Adge @Appleblossom @Sophia1

Wondering where you are.... @Flax

We love your creative thinking.....

The ideas as you mentioned can stretch over the hills and back.....

far beyond places ever imagined...

There will be time for this of course......Can see so much fun in your ideas above.

Wondering if you would like to include the imperial purple for costumes for the concert.

We will need a costume designer......

Adge might be willing to assist you if you need help..

@Adge is a tenor .....a special solo performance please

@Appleblossom teaches piano.......I do hope that you are going to play the piano....a special solo performance please

@Former-Member a campanologist....what talented artists we have here..definitely another solo performance.

So you can see @Flax Sooty and Ariadne are in great demand...

Sooty can have a special tux for the occasion.....

Please join our preparations for an exciting concert.

Many have missed the fact that in the original announcement the venue was mentioned as being at an ancient Roman Villa.

Transportation to this place will be done under the guidance of Aloysius the Bat.

He will be able to cover the eyes of all so as not to reveal the whereabouts of the ancient Roman Villa.

@Adge @Appleblossom @Oaktree @HenryX @Flax @Emelia8 @Exoplanet

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Ah yes the ancient Roman Villa I do remember reading that. Luckily the bells from the hall can be heard all over 100 acre wood or were you thinking handbells?

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

hello @Oaktree

I was thinking from a bell tower.

Incredible that you learnt to ring church bells at such a young age...

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

I was around 15 when I learnt to ring bells. I am short so I had to stand on a specially constructed wooden box.
