The medical diagnosis that has remained constant for the last 14 years is Bipolar 1, but since 1991 the other diagnosises i have been assigned include schiophreniform disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia and pyschotic depression.
It has been 2 and 1/2 years since my last hospital emergency presentation.
I am mostly interested in mental wellness strategies for work, study and life and peoples experience of advocacy.

Hi and welcome @rivergal . I have had the diagnoses of bipolar, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. I'm going on near 30 years since my first episode. I have been focusing on recovery to wellness too. My strategies include self care and self acceptance, self monitoring of my health both physical and mental. I'm unsure what wellness and recovery means to you, as it's such an individual thing. For me it's staying in work, staying out of hospital and having loving relationships with others. But not in that order. Anyway I hope you enjoy the forums!
