Feeling as Low as I have ever Been

Feeling as Low as I have ever Been

***please be mindful that this post might be triggering for some***

Where do I even start. Before I really get into it please know that I am currently safe I just want to get my feelings out. I just wanna die. I genuinely mean it. Life just honestly sucks. I have no friends, no social life, everyday is full of anxiety and my family aren't taking me seriously. U see I have been off work for quite a while due to a self inflicted injury which resulted in surgery. I only got the ok to work from last night onwards. Today I got asked to work and my mum expects me to say yes like nothing happened. Like I don't constantly think of dying. She expects me to continue functioning even with these crippling thoughts. I just wanna scream at them that I wanna die. That I need immediate help. Not the help that is meant to come in a few weeks. It's just so hard. So extremely hard. I don't wanna be here anymore. In fact I don't even know what keeps me here anymore. But whatever it is that keeps me here is the only reason I am alive.

That pain must be very intense.

Sorry to hear about it all.

I can hear the fighting spirit in you, I hear it in the words you use to describe the situation.

Just wanted to let you know I could see it and was grateful for it

Hi @Kalani just wanted to say I read your posts and I'm sorry it's so hard.

Welcome to the forum - I came for some of the same reasons you have - understanding without judgment - and it has been that and more for me. You are not alone, people here care.

Hi @Adrian welcome to you too. How are you travelling today?

That feeling of loneliness when u are trapped with your thoughts with absolutely nobody to talk to is suffocating. I hope u are all doing well today!

Just told my brother that I am having suicidal thoughts. Now he is going to tell my mum. I am so scared. I regret telling him.

Re: Feeling as Low as I have ever Been

Hi @frog thankyou.

I am in a mixed state yet predominantly positive.

Diagnosed with bipolar 20 years ago, yet have only sought treatment for roughly 20% of that time since. Firstly sought treatment, and was diagnosed, in my early 20s after a period of taking street drugs. Stopped treatment till my next big life challenge in my early-mid 40s when I became a divorcee and a part-time parent.

I have come to another crunch time realisation that I need to manage my bipolar. So that I don't lose the things I can see and hear I am close to losing

@Kalani I believe it is a good outcome if you family has an awareness of your true experiences ATM.

I believe the familial love of a parent will shine through even if they are having a hard time understanding things.

I also believe that no relationships or humans are perfect.

Any positive support we get from any human is a precious gift and I hope I can remember to be always grateful.
