@Former-Member @Shaz51 @bipolarbunny @Appleblossom @Bunniekins and so many others.......
Hello Always-hope,
Thank you for the good wishes. Everything is settling down after 'the big blow'.
It's interesting, but probably not surprising, that a cyclone can have unexpected consequences. It rattled 'my branches' somewhat, and I have had to face some issues about where I have been, where I am at, and where to from here. I am going to have to make a few changes that are reflective of my age, physical capacity, and mental health. The MH is the only one that I really have very much control over. Pride and stubborness have to give way to assistance to be sought and preparedness to make significant changes in plans for the future.
The first step is to arrange discussions with a counsellor to discuss the 'where now, where to' issues and formulate a plan.
This forum gives me, as is the case, I believe, for so many others, the opportunity to express our concerns in a safe environment. In addition, in a very positive sense, we do offer and receive so much support. Those opportunities add another very significant dimension of meaning to our lives, without which, we would be poorer as a result. At least that's how it feels for me. Consequently, I expect the forum to remain a significant part of my day-to-day activities. I hope that will be of mutual benefit, and I look forward to many future posts and responses.
Best Wishes,
HenryX
