@Dimity Your weight loss goal and achievement sounds really good,
I like your comments on food effects and diet. I have noticed similar effects/reactions
Lovely reference to the “late afternoon or early evening when there's golden light”
Hope you have still got all your phone contacts ,
@Shaz51 Beautiful tea setting that looks so tasteful and appealing
Hope you have a lovely restful sleep
@bipolarbunny Your pea poem is fabulous, and all in under an hour
Unfortunately those food reactions that kick in when we drop the ball and think, "just one" – nasty.
The procrastinating thing and feeling frozen – can't move, I find really distressing and frustrating.
Have to apply the Just Show Up {JSU} principle and also get the bike out to ride each day, increasing it bit by bit.
The beauty of walking, running and bicycle riding is that it is so much easier to see and be aware of what is going by
Pleased that the therapy sessions seem to be hitting the mark
Thank you for the good week wishes and likewise to all
@greenpea I have this vision of all you ladies out for a run in your polka-dot pjs having formed a defensive perimeter – quite a sight
I do like your conversational interaction pea, and encouraging comments on the forum
@rivergal Today I have got past the “thinking about it stage” and started cleaning up the back patio area. A lot of work to do that I have not seemed to be able to get into for too long. Just have to pace myself and take it steady rather than an all out effort to catch up and then falling in a heap. Looking forward to continuing.
Can understand the “in a hole feeling”.
I can also identify with the distraction issue when trying to study. I wonder if people who are successful at study are able to focus better on the content without being effected by the difficulty of maintaining attention on the task at hand.
@Always-hope I sleep reasonably well most nights, but it does feel quite unsettling if I wake up during the night and go into that cyclic worry type phase that I just seem not to be able to get rid of without getting up, which then adds the concern about not enough sleep.
I find that when I am anxious and irritable is the time I don't want to be around other people – mainly like you, because I do not want to cause offence or distress to others.
Hello to @Olga @Mazarita @Meowmy @frog @eth @Appleblossom and everyone else reading this thread. I hope Monday night gives you all a peaceful and restful sleep.
With Best Wishes
