What a brilliant poem, for both imagery, wordsmithing and concepts. So suitable to mainland Australian summers. Thank you so much for sharing and doing that emotional work. It is def work to meld experiences in such a way with words.

Ha ha @HenryX We are all different. I am way enthusiastic about Bipolar Bunny, but I when I see "BB" I do not think of her, but another forum member who is a very different person, but still posting here and there and vulnerable. She also signed off as BB.

Hi @bipolarbunny @Shaz51 @Meowmy @HenryX @greenpea @roses @mazarita et al sending good vibes and hoping we can all catch up on sleep and selfcare over the break. I've frozen my excess hot cross buns as otherwise I'd overindulge. Easter can be bleak so best wishes to any and all who's feeling down or out of it, been there many times. Religious leanings, estrangement from family, depression and loneliness tend to lurk in the dark corners of my psyche and Easter triggers them all. I'm OK this year, touch wood.

You put it well. It can be bleak despite buns and/or chocolate. For me it used to be very busy, a peak period. This year is quiet, but not isolated, so that is good for me. Hope you are not too bad

@Meowmy Just in from a little planting out "babies" in the garden.

A headache as usual, but I am doing alright. Thank you. Not sure if it is religious or other that is stressing you. I just watched Black Narcissus on SBS, which is a bit melodramatic, but I could relate to aspects of it, then I saw it had been banned in America when it first came out.

Hi @Appleblossom @Meowmy yes Easter used to be my busiest time of year too before I was diagnosed and I'd often relapse. One year my pdoc even offered my a hospital stay just in case. My meds have kept me out of hospital for many years now, something to be thankful for. It's good gardening weather here, enjoy.
