Something’s not right

What’s next?

What’s next?

Sitting here listening to the bird noises (I would like to say bird song but there is too many different sounds) As I said in my getting start post, I have hit rock bottom and slipped into a crack and it has me wondering what now! I know the only way is up (as I sing that one line from a song I can't remember the rest of the words too) In my last session I finally got it, the only hand that can pull me out is my own and that scares me due to the lack of faith, well the lack of anything in myself to succeed.

So here I am, stripped raw not a memory left unexplored (that I am aware of) no secrets hidden. Now I get to start again, putting it all back together bit by bit. I know there will be lots of times I may fall backwards but I am hoping that I won't get stuck there.

Hey @Lee82

I'm okish, covid test came back negative but really sick so need to get to pharmacy for script to be filled.

Just rang hospital as I haven't heard from my boy which is unusual and I learned he's not doing too well today. God I wish I had a magic wand 😞

How about you sweetheart, what's happening in your world?

I am not so great myself. Had my psychology appointment yesterday and it didn't go as I hoped it would. I have just lost all hope for myself.

Re: What’s next?

I have no strength no energy no motivation left. I don't have the courage to do what needs to be done. I have lost my way and I have no fuel left to help get me back on track.
i dont know what to do anymore. I am numb and broken.

Re: What’s next?

I am okay @Lee82 Have the anniversary of my Pop's death coming up tomorrow so it has stirred up a lot of feelings but I am dealing with it with lots of self-care, acknowledging it is hard but also remembering all the good times. He would only want me to think of him as he was - a loving, caring grandfather with an amazingly beautiful heart and soul - and not as I found him - so that is what I am trying to do 👍💖

How are you Hon? Not an easy time for you but am listening if you want to talk

I am so sorry to hear about your pop hun. Anniversaries are truly hard. You are in my thoughts beautiful. I know you will get through it hun as you are one of the strongest people I know. It's so lovely to hear you are looking after yourself and that you are able to identify when you need extra self care.
sending you hugs and love my friend.

Re: What’s next?

Just read your previous post @Lee82 Want you to know even though you feel all those things right now you are not 'broken' Hon - you are struggling and as hard as that is you are still reaching out so that also shows me you have both strength and courage. Sometimes staying connected when we are feeling so down is very hard but it is also often what we need - to be with others that get it and to also have those around you for support. It is also those really little things in our days that we can focus on - a warm cuppa in your hands, Boris resting his head on you, getting dressed, having a soothing shower, etc. Make thelittle things a highlight and recognise that they are all you can do for now but they are enough
