Feeling frustrated

Feeling frustrated

Feeling really frustrated, it's an overwhelming feeling. It's like I have a lot of built up energy but there is no were for it to go. I thought of doing some push ups but my body is to tired. So I am writing on here to see if this helps.

Re: Feeling frustrated

Hi @bigt. I'm glad you wrote in. Do you know what's causing this frustration? Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint how we are feeling. We just know that something is wrong.
Too tired to do push ups. I tend to dance. Gwt my energy out that way. Other times I keep my hands busy - knitting, sudoku, hanging out the washing. Anything that takes mg mind off it. Then when I'm feeling a bit calmer, I'll do a relaxation exercise I've downloaded from the Internet.
Have you had these feelings before? How have you coped in the past?

Re: Feeling frustrated

I have struggled a lot with pent up emotion and energy .. when I discovered the phrase .. that emotion is energy in motion .. I consciously tried to harness and match my energy reserves for the task at hand .. dishes, gardening, teaching ... whatever ..

maybe push ups were too big .. and more gross motor .. rather than fine motor ..

Re: Feeling frustrated

I'm so sorry you feel as you do. I feel likewise. Was going to take up jogging but can't draw the strength. If you do some push ups I will certainly at least do some full on walking to get into the jogging bit hopefully. Let me know when you get started & I'll do the same.maybe we can give each other back up

Re: Feeling frustrated

Was feeling better so went to the gym only problem is on only the second exercise my back has gone out. I am now in extreme pain, I have a bad back and sometimes it plays up but this time it has almost paralyzed me. So at least I haven't got time to worry about my head. I'm in to much pain for that. So maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

@bigt. What a bugger of a thing to happen. You had energy and tried to do something that could help lift your mood.
I'm sorry it didn't go to plan and that you ended up in pain. But I do like yoir optimistic attitude.
I hope the pain eases soon.
