Re: Not sure why
Hi @Former-Member,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling alone and overwhelmed today 😞 It sounds like the training program might have been really heavy for you.. Did you want to talk about it?
Otherwise, would you like to talk about some things that will help you feel less empty and alone tonight? What's in your coping box?
Sending you lots of warm happy thoughts, on this cold dreary night!

Re: Not sure why
I find I'm very emotional after a therapy session & even a Centrelink appointment can do the same. I then tend to sleep for 12 hours or more, because I'm mentally exhausted.
So no, you are not doing anything wrong.
Nothing your body is doing is wrong.
Your mind is overwhelmed. If this is your first training session, you are bound to be emotional. But it should be less so each week.
I find going to yoga very emotional. I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack, but I don't.
My yoga teacher said it's good. It's a release of emotions.
How are you feeling now? Have the tears stopped? Are you tired?
Treat yourself gently tonight

Hi @Former-Member, a couple of day have passed and I'm wondering how things worked out for you after the training course? Are you feeling any better? Can we help at all?

Although it won't be gone when you wake up tomorrow - the pain and emotions may be less powerful.
I had a hard time when changing my meds recently. More emotionally sensitive. More likely to feel down and not getting enough sleep. But once the new meds kicked in - it was a huge relief. I could breath easier again.
What are you going to do tonight to feel calmer? Do you have some techniques that can divert your attention? Or a technique that relaxes you?
