Re: Medication
My friend suggested I try a Reiki Master.......it works for her with pills.
I did go to a homeopathic doc when I was really bad...she gave me some practical things to do as well as drops for my receptor ridden stomach, they worked well.

Hi @Catherine
Just wondering what it is about your life that you are most not liking at the moment?
is it the number of meds that you mention? (unfortunately we cant speak about specific medications or offer advice about possible changes to your meds on the forums as we are not medically trained and everyone is unique in their make up and response to medications - it is explained in more detail in the community guidelines - click here)
but we can speak about other ways to improve your life? and other forms of help like experiences with alternative medicine as Margherita said? would that help?
Hi @Margherita
welcome to SANE forums! What sort of practical (non-medical) advice did you get?

Re: Medication
As you are in the community ... maybe you can work on goals of findng things that actually satisfy you in a "values" way ... or used to give you pleasure before meds.
I am ambivalent about meds too ...
Glad you are posting and hope we hear more about the things you do ... but only share what you wish.
warm regards Apple

Re: Medication
Hi @Catherine,
Thanks for your post!
I wonder whether a lot of people often feel like they are “functioning” but not really “living” (so to speak) or enjoying their life. I’m curious what an enjoyable life would look like to you? What would you do? Who would spend time with? Perhaps musing on what your “ideal” might be could give you some ideas of new things you might be able to try, or ways of doing things that you might be able to adjust to help make life more enjoyable and meaningful for you?
All the best,
supernova.
