Yes - @BabyHowYaFeelin
You do have choices - one thing that is never taken away from us is our right to have choices. People might try but they can't take your freedom to think what you like and believe what you like away -
I wonder if your converstatons with yourself help you - they might - I actualy do chat away to myself when I am trying to make a decision - like whether or not to see a specialist about shoulder replacement surgery - and it worked - I will see him and ask for an opinion which isn't asking for an operation -
And your sense of humour keeps popping out - it's right there - and I believe it's a good one and will be your salvation - my sense of humour has been mine
I wonder what you do during the day - most evenings we have a busy time starting around dinner time and going on for a few hours but easing off around 10.00 pm. To get someone in on your conversation it's probably a good time to come in after dinner - and hopefully get a bit of a chat - rather than having these lonely look-alike messages. It's frustrating not to get any answers
Was it someone here who told you to take our crisis somewhere else beause people here are unlikely to do that. Maybe it was another site. Of course you can have your crisis here - I think the guidelines state that we cannot be graphic. It is really hard if we have had a tough time with a therapist or specialist or dentist and we can't talk about the experience when we need to - the thing is the moderators are concerned that such descriptions might cause other people to avoid seeking help.
I just pulled up your first post on this thread on my old computer - the problem is about your partner not loving you anymore. That is heart breaking - to be told that has to be so hard to talk about that the words feel useless - how can we talk about the huge muddy boots that just trampled about in the delicate little garden of our hearts and souls - someone has planted their huge tradie boots rght in the centre of your chest and blasted you - and that really is the pits. Such behaviour can and does destroy our self-worthiness and is unwarrented and unfair
No need to take your crisis elsewhere. Find the right words and be gentle with yourself
One of my favourite poems is a sonnet written by Shakespeare - it's truth and gutsiness had helped me pull myself together often - and it starts
Th'expense of spirit in a waste of shame
Is lust in action.......
And continues in graphic language that really illustrates passion
It hurts when love dies - I hear that and I understand and hope you continue - your conversations with yourself say more than you realise - or - maybe you do
But in my book - you are welcome here
