Re: Chronic kidney disease & mental health

Hi there. I have had depression for as long as I can remember, it sits on my shoulder constantly, when my kidneys failed I did not cope at all and was in a bad way. You are tired because your kidneys are not functioning properly. It is exhausting. I was on dialysis for about 5 years ; Mr Bear6 gave me his kidney which I have now had for 12 years. Yes there are a lot of tests involved especially for him, please please do it hun, I hated dialysis. The transplant is the closest thing to a cure - it isn't a cure but you can have a normal life. Yes you will be on anti-rejection meds for the rest of your life but it is so worth it. It is a chance at a new life I went back to work full time 2 months after my transplant. I know you are worn out and you feel sick, your kidney is not getting rid of the crap, it can't now. It takes time for hubby to go through all the tests, so fill in the forms please. If I can help please tell me, If you want to ask me any questions or just want to talk I am here xx take care lovely
