@Former-Member Hi TigerT just the usual stuff for me like doctors and medications. Then there is exercise like walking. No magic wand here just slogging it out slowly and find what works and what doesnt.

No, I have not. I won't give details about how and why because that's not allowed.
What has been most helpful for me? Well nothing has genuinely helped me unfortunately, but being educated about my problems has been most useful.

I have, although it's taken a long time.
What's helped the most is learning to articulate my thoughts and feelings better with more self-acceptance, via speaking to people about them, and learning about thoughts/feelings and psychology from reading forums, articles, and listening to psychology podcasts.

The truth.
It made a big difference.
But I only found out about it when I was 48, and it took me a while to metaphorically connect the dots.
Now I have the ability think for myself, but most of the people I knew when I was a child are now contemplating how to retire, where as I never got started in the first place. I remember meeting a childhood freind about 10 years ago, he really wanted to help me, but I just walked away from him. He had his wife and young child, and there was no way I could ever interfere in the happiness of his wife and child.
Everyday I contemplate moving into commision units for people 55 years old, back in Sydney, and give my house to the government in exchange, but that might mean the end of me, even though life might become so much easier for me. Instead I continue with this life of trying to find and do something one day.
