Hi I'm a new member. Just trying to find some help and people to talk too. Both my kids have mental health issues. My son 19 has Schizophrenia and my daughter 15 has Schizoaffective disorder. It's hard trying to keep them both going. There both in facilities getting help at the moment. Hard not having your kids home with you or being able to really help them.

@attachedbear903 Hi attachedbear903 and welcome to the forum 🙂 I have schizoaffactive disorder and my son2 has mulliple issues including schizophrenia. I get how hard it is having to leave them in mental health facilities when they are so young (it doesn't get much better when they are older either....). We have some great threads re these mi's you might like to take a look. There are also some nice social areas to meet up with other formites eg the good morning thread which goes on all day lol. Have a look around and when you are ready you might like to post something. All the best greenpeaxx

Welcome to the forum @attachedbear903, it is understandable that you're finding it hard not having your kids with you, do you know when they're coming home at all? In the meantime, have you been able to practise some self-care and do things that you enjoy?
