Same every year
I had one on Monday night - Christmas eve
Same thing every year - sitting at home Christmas Day

Unfortunately I had the opposite problem to you; it was as hectic as it could be. I would've enjoyed visiting people early morning and going home.

I go back to work end of next week...
Took a few days off....but not going travelling...
there's one more public holiday left ....
I made something up when someone at work asked me I said I would be doing something
because they always expect us to 'do something' ....
I went on cruise back in January...I won't be doing that again any time soon
it was to NZ ...the short one.....well at least i have experienced it

got a new pair of shoes so that was good

I did the same thing three years ago - I had 2 weeks off
Back then we had someone doing work at our house so I had to be around...
I reckon 2019 Christmas to New Year will be the same - I'll take the break
It's quiet period at work
No point to take too much time off unless travelling 🙂
Last time I flew overseas was five years ago
