No idea what I'm thinking

No idea what I'm thinking

I have been coming home from a day at work and suddenly I just want to scream or feel frustrated. I then get more angry or frustrated as nothing has happened. I then woke up in my sleep screaming today but got frustrated as I didn't know why or what I was even thinking.

Has anyone else had similar situation?

Re: No idea what I'm thinking

@Jessten Hi, has anything been happening at work that could be potentially causing it. I tend not to scream when I’m frustrated, but withdraw and tear up.

Re: No idea what I'm thinking

@Jessten Hi Jessten when my meds were not the correct dosage (too low) I could flip within a second into a rage where I was close to screaming my head off and then within minutes I was fine again. Are you on any medication? If so I would go back to the doctor and mention your symptoms. Again nothing would seem to trigger it (I use the word 'seem' although looking back there were triggers at the time but I couldnt pick up on them). I hope this helps. greenpea

@Jumpingcactus there has Been a lot of change both at work and in.home environment the past few weeks. I went through the same thing previously however was after good day. Recently I've been waking up screaming and I get frustrated at not knowing what I'm frustrated about.

I sometimes have the same thing happens to me @Jessten

I talk in my sleep or tell our and wake myself up. I think it might be the role of the meds in my sleep but I'm not sure.

I hope you get to the bottom of it though soon

Re: No idea what I'm thinking

In our modern, and very consuming lives, lines between work and who we are can be blurred. It’s very hard at times to discern ourselves from either. Personally, I find taking off my work uniform, having a shower and dressing in my daggy clothes as a way to cut off and setting work/life boundaries.

Re: No idea what I'm thinking

@Jessten Hope your doctors appointment can resolve some of your questions and symptoms. I’m only guessing as I can only relate myself to your circumstances but getting frustrated is well frustrating, especially when your not sure the motive. You could be exhausted, tired, lack of sleep can have a negative impact. I sometimes talk to people of whom I only trust to confide in of course when I get frustrated, it helps me to rationalise so I can think clearly.

@Jumpingcactus

Thankyou for your response. I guess what frustrates me the most is when these momentsc come on I can't even talk to anyone as I'll b fine one minute then the next I'll b grumpy an
Wanting to scream but nothing will have happened so then I think what am I so frustrated and that makes me even worse as I keep saying why in the hope it will stop the way I feel.

I have learnt tho that if something negative happens I tend to Push it away coz if I don't think about it then it will just go away which is why I think I'm now getting upset in my sleep as I can't control it

Re: No idea what I'm thinking

@Jessten At least you are able to acknowledge your frustrations. I can be like that, one minute I’m fine and then snap I’ve done a 360. As a result people close to me are not so close to me anymore in fear they will be snapped at and then I regret my behaviour. But by then it’s too late, I’ve stepped over the mark and can’t take it back. Then it’s the dealing with the aftermath that’s even more frustrating. Sounds like you need good sleep of a nighttime. Are people around you possibly irrating your frustrations. It could also mean you could be lacking vitamins which could be causing it. Are you over analysing things which could be creating unwanted frustration? Did your appointment help at all? I hope it did.
