Multiple personality disorder symptoms

Multiple personality disorder symptoms

Hello my name's Lexi this is my first post here. I was recently diagnosed with MPD and have been having hallucinations. I wanted to make this post because I don't know what else to do. I've become to paranoid to return to therapy after my diagnosis. This may sound odd but I was cleaning a couple days ago and found an old smoothie glass that had bugs (Nat flies?) crawling inside it I know very gross. I threw the glass down because it freaked me out. Ever since then I've had the feeling of bugs crawling all over me all over my body. I can't tell if it's real or not at points. I don't know how to make it stop and I can't take the feeling. Dose anyone else have hallucinations like this and how do you handle them? Please help

Re: Multiple personality disorder symptoms

Hey there @Liltweaker777 welcome to the forums 🙂

A big thank you for your first post, I appreciate that it can be a tricky thing to do. Receiving a diagnosis can bring up varying things for people, how are you finding the process of now having a diagnosis?

I'm really glad you are reaching out for conversation around this, it sounds like a lot to be trying to manage on your own.

I'm not sure if you have tried this already but it can be helpful to use the search icon to read about specific topics, I typed in 'hallucinations' and there are some very intereseting discussions that have taken place. Perhaps this could be useful whilst you wait for others to reply?

Tonight there will be a social event called Friday Feast commencing 7pm EST which can be found here if you'd like to pop in. Can be a great way to introduce yourself to the community and part take in something fun!

There's also a thread here called Introduce Yourself Here, where you can post what has brought you to the forums and three random facts about yourself.

I look forward to seeing you around and hope you find some members to talk about hallucinations with soon.

Take Care 🙂
