Depressed adult son

My sons partner left with no explanation one year ago. Son is still majorly depressed , has refused any professional help and wonder how to help him further.

depression in children particularly is difficult because of two things one we cannot easily prescribe medication and the other there may be depressed personality disorders any ways here is the tips to help them . we call it cognitive behavioral theraphy it has five components which are thought, mood, physical activity and the like and it works by trying to have a diary of symptoms and trying to change the negative thought that trigers the symptoms and it may take 4 sessions
