Something’s not right

Please help me.

Please help me.

I can’t cope. I’ve been hearing voices more & more and they’re becoming clearer too. I’m so paranoid I can’t get to sleep for hours and when I do sleep I wake up at the slightest disturbance. I can’t handle being in the shower for more than a minute cuz the buzz of the bathroom fan makes me hear my parents screaming at each other. I saw a figure at my door in the middle of the night last night, I saw the alarm motion sensor illuminate too. I’m so scared all the time I don’t know how to get into any of the treatments or programs that are supposed to help I can’t even call to find out because my anxiety is through the roof. I just want to be okay. I’m not okay.

Hi @Daaisy

Welcome to the Sane forums and i'm sorry to read you are unwell at the moment and having such scary and distressing symptoms like paranoia and hearing voices. Night time can be very hard.

I am moderating here until midnight if you want to talk. You can also email us for a private conversation and support. A new mod will take over at midnight.

If things get worse, you probably should call your local Crisis Assessment & Treatment Team. Which state do you live in?

Take care of yourself,

Frog

Re: Please help me.

@Daaisy. Yiu can call your local hospital and ask to speak with the mental health team. Or if it's easier for you, just go straight to the ED of your hospital and tell them you're distressed by voices in your head. They will get the team to come and help you.
Is this a relapse? Or is this all new to you?
Once you are seen by the CAT (crisis assessment team) - they should be able to help get yiu the right medication and treatment to get you feeling better and safer again.
If you are struggling anytime during the night, there are always other forum members up who can have a chat with you. So you won't be alone.
