Something’s not right

Wrong planet

Wrong planet

Hello all,

I still remember the moments where I consciously let my life in a different direction. And walked the path I was supposed to. This is not my life. I somehow ended up on the wrong planet. All my life I’ve been prescribed how to be and what to do, now I get prescribed meds to keep me socially acceptable.

I want out of this stage play, I want to be me again.

Re: Wrong planet

@Former-Member I couldnt agree with you more.So called reality is the biggest illusion of happiness of all which is why so many people take drugs, drink etc. because really if they looked at their lives they would see it as it is miserable, monotonous and worthless. Sorry if I am sounding bleak just sad today we have lost two of our fav members Li1 and mohill very sad pea.

@Bunniekins

How do you mean we lost Li1 and mohill? Sending you support.

There is so much facade and so little real living out there. Perhaps I just mix with the wrong crowd. I excelled in this world until I crashed. And now I sit here again like a teenager where I need to decide whether I go with the stream and everything that is expected of me, or walk my own way. I cannot even say I made the wrong decision back then, but I may have to consider my decision this time around. I feel pulled in all directions.

How do you work against living a life of illusions?

Re: Wrong planet

@Former-Member Lil and mohill have left the forums and I really liked them but they have their reasons ... I just hope they are okay and come back ... 😞

How do I cope I sit and play music with my headphones on and block it all out as much as I can like a scowly pea. My pdoc said I was a individualist ... like you I think I have to do something as the medications are so controlling, this so called reality which I call an illusion is so controlling and I dont want it!

The pea is currently thinking of ways to get out of it but at the moment I am at a loss so I blast my music out loud and hide under my covers and turn my back on it all.

How do you cope with all the illusions which are forced down our throats by society Kirin?

Re: Wrong planet

Hi @Bunniekins

That’s sad about your friends but I hope they’re ok.

I actually don’t know if there’s a way out. There is good in my life too and there would be things that would be very different if I didn’t ‘conform’ in the past. I’d like to find that middle ground, but I’m not sure if it exists.

I’d like to be able to take the headphones off you and me, and just flood the world with who we are and they can get stuffed, used to our reality and pop pills if they can’t take it...

Re: Wrong planet

@Former-Member.
For me, I'm on the right planet. It's just that there are some narrow minded, judgemental people, who also live on this planet.
I'd like them all to go to Mars & leave this planet to those of us who are sensitive and loving and caring.

That would be nice @utopia 🙂

Re: Wrong planet

I so much don’t want to be part of this world anymore. I’m numb and detached and it feels surreal to be here. I struggle to be here. I read once a book about the different hats we wear in our lives like being a mum, housewife, lover, employee, friend... that was when I was feeling well and about how to find more balance.

Now I sit here and I think about the hats I wear now on this wrong planet and just want to be in bed drowning out the different roles I’m supposed to live in my life. I am so tired only being numb, of being confused and living in different realities. I can’t even explain it. I’m scared.

It sounds like you're having a tough time and we value you sharing these thoughts and feelings. Do you have any strategies to help though this?

Re: Wrong planet

I’m home now. I’m safe. I know what it is that I feel. I am so numb it’s like being a living dead. A ghost that just stands by. I’m safe with a person at home now. I’m just scared.
