Need advice Please: Partner left, lost baby & stalking

Need advice Please: Partner left, lost baby & stalking

Hi all, I need quite a bit of advice and you can be brutally honest and even give me the verbal slap.
I hope this makes sense.
I have been on amd off with my partner for 7 years. Every time he leaves me he is on dating and hook up sites. He then comes back. Treats me badly. The highs are as good as the lows.
This time it does seem final.
Probably too much to go in to as to what hapoened but this ended when he just lost license for 10months due to drug driving, he smokes pot. We both started businesses recently. I offered to drive him everywhere but then thought about it amd said I don't know if I can for 10months. Maybe you should start cutting down. And it blew up.
So this is upsetting.

But I was pregnant and he was so happy. He left me and said he hopes it dies and I'm smart for keeping a baby from a broken relationship. But even tho he left I felt such joy inside that I was having a baby. But today it seems I have lost it now 😞 I am devastated and gutted.

Then my 3rd problem is I am an obsessive stalker. And I mean bad. I can't stop and now he has blocked me I am worse. And it isn't just a thing where you can say distract yourself and block him, talk to someone, do something else. I mean I have done this for years that is how I found out he is now already one 4 hook up dating sites now. The day he left he made them. How is that love??

I love him so much. But how do I stop the stalking and please I need hard core practical stuff not the generic stuff. It is very serious.

I have bipolar, borderline personality disorder and dependency disorder.
Thankyou

I'm not sure if I should be saying anything and I could be totally wrong. But from what I've studied about behavioral things - half is what techniques you use, half is your own will/self power.
You need to decide you're ready to stop. You need to get fully emotionally behind stopping.
Only then will the techniques work.
To take a lame example- I tell myself I will go to the gym, but I rarely do. Until I make that decision fully I will always find excuses to not go.
Have you thought about seeing a psychologist. They can be really helpful with this kind of a thing.

Thankyou for replying.
I have struggled for years to find a psychologist I can relate too or that understands me. I have had really good pyscatrists whom understand me very well.

I am very honest when I seen them and they seem to be taken aback by it.

I get what you are saying about having set your mind and put your emotions in to it to stop.
I feel like I do it to punish myself.
I need to figure out why I do it and that is hard.

@Wowzy Hi Wowzy firstly sorry to hear about you losing your baby that is indeed very sad (as I know only too well). Secondly dealing with your ex partner it sounds to me that he is moving on with his life and so should you. You said to be direct well I agree with @Former-Member it has to come from you ... no one else can do it for you. I hear what you say about psychologists but dont give up I am sure there is one out there which is a perfect fit if you want to go that way otherwise you can go cold turkey on him and start new ventures which will fill the void that he has left.

Maybe you need to move out of your house (for awhile at least) that you shared with him, start a hobby, or a course something that distracts you. Basically you have been given a chance to start afresh without living in a toxic relationship I would grab it with both hands and run with it. Good luck.

@Wowzy - what I always tell my female friends and family - just because you love someone - doesn't mean you should be with them.
Love from afar. Because this does not sound like a healthy relationship at all.
Concentrate on your new business. Put lots of your energy and time there. Then you'll have less time or energy to 'stalk'.
You also might want to speak to a counselor or psychologist who can work with you during this hard time about your OCD stalking. That way you have support and are not trying to do everything on your own.
It sounds like you are a strong woman. So I think you'll be alright being on your own for a while.

Thankyous for your kind words. I was always a strong girl but then some how I get sucked in.
He came and picked up the last on his stuff yesterday. It gutted me.
Just he said I love you everyday and made plans for our future and has thrown it away.
I am seeing a pysc next week.
I am trying to keep busy but yes stalking non stop. Just so hard.

Hi @Wowzy - im so sorry to hear about the loss of your baby, i hope that you are able to get some medical support with this too to make sure that ou are ok both physically and to get some support emotionally as well.
Im sorry to hear about the relationship breakdown it sounds as though it has been difficult for a long time. Im guessing in a way that the stalking is hurting you more than your ex, because he's out doing what he wants but you're so focussed on him that its stopping you from living in a way? I hope for you that this is something that you can find a way to reduce or stop so that you can focus on looking after you and getting 'better'... Glad you have joined the forums and hope that being here helps you, take care
