Re: About Moderators.
HI @Lemonjuice 🙂
Great question ![]()
The moderators are certainly here to ensure Community Guidelines are not breached. They also do things like:
- Ensure discussions are posted in the most relevant areas
- Encourage discussion between peers in threads that don't have a lot of responses
- Work with members to keep discussions on topic
- Keep across any technical issues / bugs in the Forums and help members out who are having any technical difficulties
- Run Topic Tuesday (Which is an information we run once a month - check out 'Special Events')
- Drop in and say hi where possible (Friday Feast is a mod fave
)
They also are here to ensure the safety of members. So while we do not provide one-to-one counselling through the Forums (as this is a peer support service, not professional support), we will touch base with members who share that they be at risk of harming themselves.
Does that clarify your question?
Nik
PS: I hope you don't mind, but I moved your discussion here to 'About the forum, including feedback and news' because other members might come to this section to ask the same question ![]()
