So so so tired!!
And I'd like my head to be quieter when I wake up - less full and somewhat still.

@Former-Member I am feelin' ya! So tired today myself.
Hope you get to have a really good restorative sleep soon. Do you find micro-naps helpful at all?

Dear @Former-Member We relive our pasts again and again ... the mind keeps repeating the material as a part of processing it. This angle and that angle ... this connection and that reason ... there are things we can control but when thoughts are so intrusive its best to just acknowledge them ...
I wish I had on/off switch for my mind too.
Was the kids teacher decent to you? Dont be embarrassed for being a survivor and having to take total responsibility without family supports.
I had a myotherapy session with a woman who had a completely stable life ... never left our little satellite town ... had both extended families and all friends locally ... she was lovely ... but such a different life experience ... its better if she has a little insight into her students situation ... she may be able to give you good feedback re kids coping etc.

LJ I am with you feeling this. It’s been so very long since I’ve posted on this forum. I bet life has had many turns for you and all the old crew.
I am disconnected with everything right now, so lost and so scared of posting, but here I am. I have been awake the whole night with suicidal thoughts. I guess many years ago I was very lucky to have the old community support in times like these. I’m not that person anymore. She became a hermit, lost her sense of humour and became very serious and intense. I wish some of her could come back. Anyway just writing it here that I am scared of my thoughts and feelings and wanted to say it out loud.

@Teej thank you for sharing your truth.
Like you are sitting next to me, I can physically feel your words it in my heart.
I want to sit with it for a long while, in silence.

Hi @Teej
Thank you for sharing what you're going through. It takes a lot of courage, especially when you're feeling so lost and scared. I'm really sorry to hear that you're struggling with these intense thoughts and feelings. It's understandable to miss the sense of community and support you once had, and it's okay to feel like you're not the same person you used to be. Life can change us in ways we don't always expect.
Even if you feel like you've lost your sense of humor and have become more serious, the fact that you're reaching out now shows that there's still a part of you fighting for connection and support. It's okay to feel scared, but please know you're not alone in this. Have you been able to talk to anyone else about how you're feeling? Your safety and well-being are really important.

Know that you are loved and that we are here for you. Powerful step you have taken to reach out again here after such a long time. Keep saying it out loud and call in the support you need to make it through the night. Tomorrow is a new day and I send you best wishes that the darkness will lift.
