Hurry up 2 Jan 18

Hurry up 2 Jan 18

I can't wait for this period to be over and to get back to normal. I'm bored, frustrated, overwhelmed, over everything. It's making me stir crazy and a little self dangerous.

Hi @Lemonjuice,

I am super looking forward to the 2nd of January too, even though for me this week isn't all that different to any other. What makes this week different for you? What are you looking forward to on the 2nd?

Welcome to Forum Land by the way. I am only passing through quickly each day this week, but I will most likely be around a lot more next week.

@Phoenix_Rising Hi, you know me as WildFlowers. I haven't been here for a while and I couldn't get back in for some bizarre reason and I didn't have staying power to figure it out, so I just started a new page. I like this one so, if they want to undo the other one that's fine.

As for your question. I'm part of a cult...It's called Family. I need to escape. After New Year's, everyone slowly goes back to their corners, I go back to study, my counsellor comes back, normal routines re-establish. There's a lot to look forward to but there's also a lot of anxiety. I look forward to uni but I am anxious about how I will go. We may have to sell the house but that's going to be overwhelming and very difficult for mum but at the same time a relief for me. Kids may have to move out. At about now, I start to feel like either harming myself to get some relief or suiciding. I'm ok, the feelings wash over me but gosh, it will so much better when I have my routine back.

How about yourself?

Oh hello Wildflowers / @Lemonjuice.

Only five sleeps to go until the 2nd of January!!! Yep, the lack of routine is so hard at this time of year!

I am quite socially isolated so for me, the only difference about next week is that my GP will be back and so will the guys in the SANE helpcentre. However, just these little shifts back to routine will be helpful for me because I will feel a bit less alone in my muddle.

I'm about to jump out of Forum Land for the night now, but I'm really pleased to see you back.
