What to do in the middle of psychotic symptoms?

What to do in the middle of psychotic symptoms?

Right now all my bones are aching and my foot feels like there's something heavy in it. I recognise that this could be a somatic delusion but I have no idea what to do with it. I called my treating team and they aren't in so I'll probably see them on monday. But I don't know how I should deal with this, this isn't the first time it's happened but this has been going on for days. I feel strange and also a dull pain everywhere.

@qsin Hi qsin I get and have done for many months now got a twitch in my left foot. When I was psychotic I thought it was (him) reminding me that he is there. As now I am not psychotic and still get the occasional foot twitch I still think it is a reminder to me that he is still there .... and I should make mention of it to my psychiatrist next week.

Is hearing my mother's voice in the tape of her verbal abuse an auditory hallucination? My Psychologist says it is not an hallucination and not a delusion and not paranoia and not psychosis. But my psychiatrist differs in opinion.

I'm not sure what psychosis is. My psychologist said i used the term auditory hallucination as an inappropriate term. Psychologist said I hear my mother's voice but am in reality when i hear it and no it's not real. I don't get confused or delusional, so she said it cannot be an auditory hallucination.

@BambiFawn Hi BambiFawn my experience of being psychotic is really being off the planet!. I can still do some things like shopping etc. but I also make dangerous decisions. I would go with the psychiatrist.

ps: I should note that having a psychosis is different from being psychotic ... best to look up both terms and compare.
