On Thursday I'm having a new assessment by my psychiatrist. I was diagnosed with bpd when I was 17 which is 7 years ago. A lot has changed since then and since I have been opening up more about stuff my psychiatrist wants to review everything and find out what's really going on.
I'm scared I'm going to be diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective as I go psychotic and get manic and depressed.
I don't know what a new diagnosis is going to mean. I'm scared about my appointment on Thursday
It is natural to be afraid of a mental health diagnosis. @The-red-centaur
I do hope that your session is bearable and that the outcome is not a horrible label but a key to better and more appropriate health care aimed at your specific needs.

@Appleblossom thanks. And your right, I should look at this as an opportunity for my team to know how to treat me better.
