Ya people can be fickle dear @eudemonism,
Some people are celebrated and others go unrecognised.
David Attenborough said sometimes he prefers pet animals to humans.
But most people are good, generally speaking.

What I'm adverse to is people putting me down for having had schizophrenia or a typical psychosis. Dad said they treat the mentally ill like the social lepers of the 21'st century. But it is getting better as more people have a mental illness these days. Some people can be patronising. My friend said some ppl regard the mentally ill as of lesser value, but the good news is Jesus doesn't. There also are a lot of caring and compassionate people out there in the community. I find that most of the kind and caring people are churchgoers, but some secular people are compassionate too.
I've never disliked people, I try to love everyone and treat them as my equal. Even putting the interest of others first as scripture says to lol. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and we need to love and accept others ' worts and all'.
Usually the ones who are patronising or put one down for having a mental illness are ignorant to mental illness. @eudemonism, @NatalieS, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member,
This Forum at Sane.org is an awesome Forum and helps get rid of stigmas to mental illness and dispel the myths surrounding a mental illness.
By being more open we can help ppl understand more, that ordinary ppl suffer from mental illnesses too.

Dear sweet Shaz, I bought a blue wren teapot today. It has little blue wrens hopping on the branches and grasses. I look forward to some Taylor's of Harrogate Yorkshire tea that my auntie sent me.

Yes dear shaz, @Shaz51 it was not expensive, actually bought from Flash Harry's, only $30 for my blue wren teapot, a little cheapie, but it looks lovely.
My auntie sent me a tea pot too.
Awww it's so lovely that you have lots of tea pots at home dear Shaz. My mother has royal crown Derby china, but I cannot afford that sort. Mine is made in china lol, but I still dine at High Teas with the Duchesses lol.
