Random Acts of Human Kindness

Random Acts of Human Kindness

Hi @Bunniekins@Faith-and-Hope@soul@Phoenix_Rising@Former-Member@Ant7@outlander@Former-Member@Bubbles3

I am struggling with names here - I keep losing what I have done so maybe it's better to start with a few

Greenpea and I each had a moment yesterday when someone was kind to us - a Random Act of Human Kindness

I will tell you about mine and let Greenpea tell you about hers

Mine was me - in the middle of a busy road - near a roundabout - with my crutches really feeling the strain - and a motorist in a van of some kind stopped and waved me across holding up other cars at the same time

Let's share these moments with each other - they are truly rare enough and they lighten the heart

@Owlunar Thanks Dec well I was walking down the road having a not so crash hot day when this man tipped his had at me. It was so gentlemenly and I remember it really made me feel like a lady. Just little gestures like that can warm the sadest of hearts.

Looking forward to hearing other peoples experiences.

Re: Random Acts of Human Kindness

These days so often people are kind and offer seats on public transport.

Maybe it is my imagination but for a while there it seemed consideration and manners had gone out of fashion.

Maybe I am just getting older and look like I need it more. Though I am healthier than I was 15 years ago!

Yes @Appleblossom

I think it's getting older that gets us a seat on public transport

Actually - the public transport I mostly is planes and they insist that everyone has a seat - but then - I was walking and went to far some time back and I got on the bus - and it was full of kids from the local secondary college - and several of them offered me their seat - and when my myki was found to be out of date - they fell over each other telling me how to get a new one

So - I do not mind this at all - I think it's wonderful to have a seat - even better if we don't have silver hair

Hello @Owlunar, @Appleblossom, @Bunniekins

Mine is -- it happened the other day , a mother who I have looked after her children years ago texted me saying she had given my mum 6 containers of soup she had made for her that morning --

I won’t mention any names because I don’t want to forget anyone but just the people on here that have been there for me or just been nice to me when I have needed it
Thank you all so much you will never know how much it has helped me at times 😊❤️💕
