Welcome party for Lauz!

Thanks for the 'whale' of a welcome @NikNik!

I am so excited to be joining the SANE family and to be involved with the friendly community you have all created here.

I thought I would share 3 random facts about me as a lot of you have done over time in your own intros!

• I love flowers and tend to treat myself to a bunch of fresh posies every now and then as they make me feel happy. My favourites would have to be sunflowers, iris’s and peonies…oh, and poppies!
• I am an avid reader – currently I am going through a phase of reading rock n’roll artists autobiographies
• I love Studio Ghibli films – these are whimsical anime movies that are extremely creative. My avatar is a character called Totoro from ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ and I chose him as he is a gentle creature that is part of an imaginative team that is there to support his new friends ☺

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Lauz

Ooooh a new lurker! Those who lurk are always welcome around here!

Welcome to the forum @Former-Member! A not so random question.... do you like Nutella?

@CheerBear - love that Spirited Away is going to make a feature at your family movie night!

And do I like nutella @Queenie? Yes. Yes I do. Very much.

My favourite is just plain white bread with the crusts cut off and a good layer of nutella.YUM!

welcome @Former-Member 🙂

hello and welcome @Former-Member

Have to watch out for @NikNik who loves nutella tooo

when is your birthday

Yes @Shaz51 I have been warned about @NikNik's nutella love haha! My birthday is on the 10th of April! I am an Aries baby.

@Zoe7 sorry for startling you eariler! I thought I would reply to you re floatation devices here though so you can get back to the crossword over there! I think I am a pretty strong swimmer but I am open to having a handy floation device around....I like starfishes and flamingo's if that helps?

I know @Former-Member definitely has a flamingo stored away with the rest of our flotation devices - not sure anyone has claimed that one yet so it is all yours @Former-Member Our next party is on next Tuesday 12th. It is World Chocolate Milkshake day but we are going to change it to just 'Chocolate Day". Iwill include you in the invites

Hi @Former-Member, I'm feeling shy so I'm saying hello from inside my shell.

I heard that you like starfish and flamingos so I got @Former-Member's flamingo floatie for you to try out.

And I made these for you as a welcome to Forum Land present.

Hey little turte - I was wondering how you made the starfish biscuits in the underwater cave! Do we have an air pocket somewhere for electrical appliances to be placed or did you use a gas oven (maybe some of that hot air from Gen Giraffe lol? @Phoenix_Rising Bit concerned about how these were made and if you followed all Occupational Health and Safety Regulations in doing so!
