Older age BPD

Older age BPD

A dear friend of mine has got older age BPD, she has tried online forums but has felt shunned because of her age (64). She doesn't want to have anything to do with Facebook so won't have anything to do with the forums there. Would she be welcomed here?.

Thank's Darcy, she has been living with BPD for approximately 10 years. I will pass this forum onto her.

She most certainly would be @SidStoreman. Please direct her here. I firmly believe that she will find this Forum to be most supportive. She will be amongst empathetic, non judgemental people that she will soon consider friends.

Absolutely @SidStoreman - we have people of all ages here 🙂 She would definitely be welcomed! we have many 'mature' members here! but don't want to tag anyone here incase i offend 😄

Re: Older age BPD

@SidStoreman absolutely this is an anonymous inclusive peer support community who welcomes everyone. Although most of the time members dont know each others specific ages there are many who identify as being from different generations and there are many strong multigenerational and same generational friendships because the anonymity allows people to find each other based on likes/similarities/beliefs etc rather than based on outward "sameness"

then speaking for the moderators we endevour to make sure no-one is lost/without response and people are always welcome to email us if they are unsure how to engage or need support to "meet" others

hopefully we will see your friend soon 🙂
