Farewell party for Baboo and -Karma-

Hi everyone,

As the title implies, wonderful moderators @Baboo and @-karma- are finishing up soon. @Baboo 's last shift will be Monday evening and @-karma-'s last shift will be Tuesday evening.

What a lot of you may not know is that these two were the FIRST moderators of these Forums, with CherryBomb and I. These were back in the days when the Forums were only 'live' from 5pm-10pm AEST. Can you believe that!!

Baboo and Karma were critical in not just ensuring we were open for business on Monday & Tuesday nights, but they were instrumental in assisting in setting the tone and culture of this Forum.

It's quite funny reading our shift updates (we do one after each shift) from when we launched back in 2014. It was common to get excited about 5-10 posts in a shift

A big thank you to Baboo and Karma for all of your amazing support of others and the growth of this wonderful community!

It's a privilege to be invited to share the lives of others, as you have allowed me to do here on the forums.

Unfortunately I am unwell and can not complete my final shift moderating tomorrow night, however @Baboo will have twice the fun covering for me.

@-karma- @Baboo Despite the sadness at seeing both of you finishing up on the forum I am sure that whatever is waiting for you in the future will be better for having both of you involved.

Thankyou both for the amazing job you have done - for others - and for me personally when I have needed that little bit of extra support.

i wish every one contentment in life lol i know this is something i alway look for.

I wish i could give every one a hug.

My Monday Tuesday nights will be quite odd with out you guys now 🙂 Im very happy there are spaces like this in our world now where we can reach out for support while still at home.
