Hi Evie1, Sanfran here, moderating until 1.45am. From the little I know, you have, and continue to, endure such a tough deal in life. I am in awe that you are still on this earth and hope that you find your way to stay and feel ok about it. Happy to be in email contact if it is useful to you.

Re: My journey through suicide
I struggle with sleep and depression too.
ptsd. leaves me very afraid of nightmares.
Lately, I have been using an app. on my phone.
Called 'calm'
It has adult bedtime stories. Peaceful little tales with wonderful pictures. Something to fill your mind with.
Seems to be working for me. I slept peacefully 2 nights in a row. New record.
Good luck, tonight.

I haven't paid for it yet either.
But I can access 4 different sleep stories. I am locked out of many more. Have to pay for those.
But yeah, those 4 little stories have really helped.
Hope you can try it.

Re: My journey through suicide
I don't have any answers. I am sorry. @Evie1
After a decade of really wanting to end it. I have learnt to ease up on myself a little. To not focus on the pain.
Cause when I do. I end up feeling pretty shitty.
Have you found anything helpful in the past?
Some members on here have delevoped crisis Toolkits. Boxes filled with calming distractions. Perfumes, music, art, etc.
Im not organised, but it seems such a good idea.
Anything you would put in yours?
Love gumtree
