Something’s not right

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

I am a bipolar on meds. Things have been better recently i am going through less episodes. But once per week a dejavu knocks on my door..It was much frequent before so i dont see it as a really big problem. Actually i havent told anyone including my doctor about it because i am scared of more drugs. After some exploration i found out epilepsy patients suffer from it.. The dejavu is usually verbal an inside voice tells me a word sometimes few words and after few hours i come across the exact word at a movie or something i am reading..i dont know what this is? it felt spooky before but i got used to it now. Also i am a heavy smoker trying to quit unfortunateley whenever i try it gets worser..so i stopped trying to quit. Maybe it has something to do with it..is there anyone who experiences something similar. thank you already.

Hello @dd7

A very warm welcome to the forums, it nice to meet you 🙂

It sounds like you are concerned about your mental health at the moment and possibly needing some support, but you are aware that your doctor may adjust your medication so avoiding seeing them. Do you think you could instead get this support from a counsellor or psychologist to help you at the moment?

There is an interesting thread started by @Former-Member about his experiences called Managing my Bipolar II it might help you to read through this.

There is also a thread started by @Ayesha called Downwards bipolar crash and they might have insight to what you are experiencing.

I look forward to getting to know you better 🙂
