Talking through trauma and PTSD

Complex PTSD

Complex PTSD

Hello I am new and I was looking for a forum that was about cPTSD, I am not yet diagnosed but I tick all the boxes, high ACE score, bipolar/narcissist abusive parent, alchoholic parent, domestic violence, loss, abandonment by biological father, separation from siblings, anyway there is a lot more but I was just wanting to know if here is a specific forum for cPTSD?

Thank you so much for reaching out today.

You have absolutely come to the right place for cPTSD support - most of our members have experienced complex trauma and will be able to relate to your story.

Re: Complex PTSD

Anything for adults with cPTSD that had their decades of trauma as an adult? All resources are for childhood abuse and it’s not relevant. I had adults abuse me as an adult for decades and it’s just not the same.

Re: Complex PTSD

Hi @Rolypoly

It can be a bit hard to find cPTSD resources for adults, I've taken a look and found a few that I will put below. BlueKnot is a good place to start. If you don't already, seeing a mental health professional could be benefitial for you. Professionals often have access to knowledge and resources that laypeople might not be able to find on their own.

Take care,
