6 months ago my partner of two years passed away
It’s been extremely hard to handle it, I had to witness it and the grief and struggle is hard but I think I’ve just been so numb to it all

I'm so incredibly sorry for the loss of your partner @sdubz201 Having to witness their passing as well as carry the grief afterwards sounds incredibly painful. Feeling numb can also be part of how we cope when something has been overwhelming for so long.
Siting with you this evening, and you're very welcome to keep sharing here too. What support or connection feels most manageable for you at the moment? Maybe some other community members can also share what's helped them.
Kindly,
~ @Honeymoon

7 years ago my hubby passed from sepsis in hospital to this day I'm still angry, numb for the loss and the hospital as they didn't treat him in time. I'm still in counselling over my loss as well as other issues. Remembering back I threw myself into physically tackling the garden by pulling out weeds pruning being bitten by green ants my housemate didn't like that as I was creating more mess for him to clean up he was a so & so. I did jigsaws for nights I wasn't sleeping, word puzzles someone suggested to learn a new hobby I did it was macrame & I still work on projects even now I've sold a few pieces too. You will grieve which is natural & there's no time limit for how long it takes but at the end of the it's you looking after you we are a great kind hearted bunch of people that are always here for you to reach out too again, above things I did to help me get through it it's very hard process what your going though, sending hugs your way
