New here to post.

Feeling unworthy of support during grief. It takes a lot for me to reach out.

I live alone and since both parents passed it feels like friends have drifted as I havent had the energy, to organise, go to things I usually do. It feels so lonely and going down that rabbithole of im a burden. And why isn't there anyone there to hold me when I cry.

Extended family that used to be close are so distant now. So it feels like I am to much.

Griefline closed. I was calling them when I needed to cry. As I cant cry alone for some reason.

Any productive advice please.

Re: Help

Hi @Be

I am so sorry for your losses, that is an extremely hard thing to ever have to go through. But you are never alone!

I’ve been in dark places before and these guys have helped me out I recommend trying to reach out to them!

They’re open 24/7 so they shouldn’t close on you.

You are important and loved and you will be able to go back to organising friend hangouts! I believe in you!!

Best wishes

Re: Help

I relate to not being able to cry alone - I've been there and it is really difficult to feel so numb to everything. If there is something you enjoy or even comforts you in the slightest way - even if it is a silly tv show that comforts you, watch it and let that comfort you. There is a lot of messiness in this world but you are deserving of love just like anyone else.

Re: Help

If you have a car or somewhere else private: I've found it helpful to play angry music and scream. Screaming under water at the gym helped me in a pinch.
