PMDD & perimenopause: navigating the rollercoaster together

PMDD & perimenopause: navigating the rollercoaster together

Hi everyone,

Following on from some chats in the welcome space, I wanted to create a dedicated thread for anyone navigating PMDD, perimenopause, or the chaotic overlap of both.

They’re big buzzwords at the moment, but living through the physical and emotional shifts can feel like a genuine rollercoaster—especially when hormone fluctuations turn the volume up on everything.

Whether you're dealing with unpredictable moods, sleep disruption, brain fog, or just feeling like your body isn't playing by the old rules anymore, it can be a lot to carry on your own.

I’d love for this to be a space where we can share notes, vent on the rough days, and swap whatever strategies are helping us through.

How has your experience been lately? What symptoms or changes have been the hardest to manage?

Hi there. I was excited to see your post as I don’t feel so alone. I am at the age of perimenopause….i have lately been having major highs and lows in my moods…it’s just awful. I can feel a million motions in just one day.

its horrible and now feel like it’s causing me to feel depressed☹️
