Navigating grief and loss

I need to know my loved one that passed away is ok

I need to know my loved one that passed away is ok

Aside from missing them from all depths and ends of my heart - I just want to know they are ok on the other side. They are taken care of and in a better place. That they are happy.

I dont think I will ever be the same again. My life means a little less and I look forward to when I get to the other side too. It’s just a matter of time. That’s the only difference between them and me. We all have tickets and they cashed theirs in before I could.

I now see the many other deaths of people that will come likely before mine, despite me hoping for the opposite.

I see people who are older than me and I wonder, how many losses have they had

The questions that go over and over in my head are

  1. where are they and are they ok
  2. will I see them again
  3. I hate me for not being able to save them, do they know how much I loved them and did they feel loved, wanted and cherished
  4. what do they want me to do without them
  5. can we still talk, do they still hear me, how do I communicate with you to tell you I miss you and love you

if they are settled, happy and ok - how do I live in their absence with any kind of joy when my being feels like it’s been emptied out.

Grief is such a unique journey. Relationship with our loved ones, kind of goes on in our mind. We grieve, we cry, we do the next things that are to be done in present time. The pain of it does eventually diminish, and the person becomes a memory. Their memory can live in our hearts and minds and in that way we can still have them with us. It is a tough difficult journey but there are ways to treasure the love and have it eventually be a nurturing feeling inside. I researched a lot, and immersed myself in the arts a lot, to be able to find ways to cope. Your journey will be what makes sense to you.

Good luck.

Hello@Heartlikeours

Sorry you have experienced this difficult loss. Maybe you could get a psychic reading with someone who is trustworthy and genuine if you believe in that kind of thing. See if there are any recommendations and make sure they aren't after money only.

Good on you for being so open and honest. Somewhat same boat and recently realised I need a better perspective. I have always enjoyed helping others and so have decided to do that instead of beating myself up. I wonder the same thing a lot with what you have mentioned and now shifted to think more they would want better for me. There are so many who could be saved and I aim to try be a part of that which in turn will help me. Little steps towards this has already given me better energy and move forward. I hope that anything I have said here resonates and maybe gives you the spark needed or even a new way of reflecting. I genuinely wish you well from me and my loved one

I feel you on this one. I really wish we had concrete evidence of what happens when we die.
