agoraphobia

agoraphobia

My mental health has secluded ( < hopefully spelled enought to understand that word)and having no family or friends to speak off, makes it even harder to makes friend to even talk to, on here ok can finds supports but doesnt make life any easier. I dont even have support ring to check up on me. Makes it to make excuses to stay living. And even with outside interfences getting worse in australia. Where do we turn, where do i turn. This really hell on earth

Re: agoraphobia

Hi @impact78, I’m really sorry things are feeling so incredibly lonely and overwhelming right now. Not having family or friends around to check in on you can make things feel so much harder, and it sounds like you’re carrying a lot on your own.

I’m glad you’ve been able to find some support here, even though I know the Forums can’t replace having people around you in everyday life. Is there anything you feel might help you feel a little more connected or supported at the moment?

Re: agoraphobia

Oh, do you mean the group sessions through SANE Recovery Club?

If so, you can register for the Recover Club here if you haven’t done so already: https://www.sane.org/recovery-club

There is also 1:1 support in the program (up to 5 free sessions), and the program runs for 6 months. There’s no pressure to commit, and you can take some time to work out whether the program is a good fit for you @impact78 😊

Re: agoraphobia

Yes registered , always having probs with password to.login. frustrating.

I just think i need a freind or some i can text or chat to during a day or once a week. Release the crap in my head or talk about anything else then my mental illness

Re: agoraphobia

I completely understand that @impact78. Sometimes you just want a friend you can text or chat with about random everyday things, have a laugh, or just get the crap out of your head without everything always being about mental health. It sounds like that connection is something you’re really missing at the moment

And frustrating about the login! 😩 Have you emailed us about it? If you let us know, we can look into it and help get a new password reset link sent through to you
