Work management answered my question about being unfair to working 2 hours and petrol 💰 from yesterday's exited shift. I'm seriously thinking of resigning with this company as I don't feel I'm valued or respected as a team member, I'm tired all the time didn't get out of bed till 1015 today didn't sleep till 130 this is not the kind of company I choose to work for I feel like they are blaming me for not co-operative with them to be continued to be ordered off a property is not doing my mental welfare any good, not eating properly due to not regular hours, I feel so tired right now and no energy to even attempt to do something enjoyable, going to make a doctor's appointment for next week to talk about getting a medical certificate I don't think I'm enjoying my job anymore to much shit happening, ready to fall asleep again

Re: Negotiation

Thankyou so do I, just made appointment to talk with my therapist luck has it she's available @ 2 pm instead of her normal time of 7. Will make gp appointment on Monday, I can't keep going around in circles feeling like a screwball, something got to change, perhaps I'm just 1 of those people who cannot hold down a job?

Hiii! @Spitfire1

From what I’ve experienced with subpar employers definitely find yourself a new job! It is not worth staying somewhere that makes you feel like that!

It may take awhile to find a career that you can ‘hold down’ aka find something your passionate about!

Whilst I can’t tell you what that job would be, I can tell you that you will find what you love and I know you’ll do well and enjoy that when you do find it!

Explore different pathways and see what you enjoy! There’s no shame in switching careers it’s all about finding what’s right for you!

Best of luck!

Re: Negotiation

Hello @SunWolfMoon and @Spitfire1 nice to meet you both here today

Absolutely agree that you need to move on re employment

Staying afloat is not enough, in fact, it led to a few admissions to the psychiatric hospital for me.

Yes, money was an issue but my mental health was more important.

I live by the creed of "I've survived being poor before, I can be poor again "

Re: Negotiation

Ok looked @ my my casual contract when I signed up with her, either parties can give notice when resigning but they are to give 2 weeks notice or in lieu of 1 weeks pay, they've cut my hours down to 15 hours a week with 3 clients only starting in September, the next week will be few more hours as the roster has already been done. I agree I do need to get away from this company for my health. I'm thinking of getting a medical certificate from my GP, then quitting. I really want to quit the job now but this worded contract has me over a barrel with her, any advice on how to go about it resigning wise will be appreciated.
