VAD Eligibility as human right model rather than medical model
Im pro VAD for any adult who requests it consistently over time, regardless of health status. Im curious who else feels this way? My belief is that such a thing would ease distress among the living and paradoxically help us life happier longer lives.

My uncle died on Sunday night. He accessed VAD because he was at the end stage of terminal cancer. I think this kind of situation is the only one where a person should be allowed to access it and signed off by multiple medical professionals. As much as I have struggled in the best and currently do have SI, I do not agree with VAD for a person who is suicidal and wanting out of this life. No.
