Allegations of misconduct

Allegations of misconduct

Hello,

I am a long term carer (6 years) for a family member with bi-polar and personality disorder who is on NDIS. He has now made false allegations to the NDIS and centrelink which I have to deal with. Are there any law firms which can help me manage this? Thank you to all for any advice.

Hi @Willow345_

Welcome to the forums, it's lovely to have you here, and thank you for reaching out to our community. It sounds like a challenging situation. It's great you are being proactive to find out where to get legal support options are available to you.

For legal matters, you can contact Legal Aid or a local community legal centre, they may be helpful places to start for independent legal advice. Another helpful organisation I can share is Australian Centre for Disability Law.

If you're looking for additional support while navigating this process, Disability Gateway and Carer Gateway are services that can help connect you with additional relevant support services.
