What do I do now?

What do I do now?

Took a few months, but, Glad to be let out of the psych ward after all this time. They had me in there to get me back onto the 'gold standard" for treatment resistance since the previous meds were starting to fail.

The only thing is, that despite taking the med regularly, I'm still having issues with hearing a discussion mixed in with the background noise that's not there. Also thinking that the phone vibrates when in fact it has not received anything.

Also had thoughts that the world cup TV coverage had tried to communicate with me via hidden messages with the player names, banners held by the crowd, a double meaning in the message at the end of gambling adverts...

They know and added on another med to try and augment what I am taking but, I'm worried that if this doesn't work, may have to do ECT or some thing hardcore like that.

Hi

Can you ask a psychiatrist to review or maybe adjust the "Gold Standard" therapeutically?

I did tell the psychiatrist late last week practically begging for this. They are hesitant to increase the dose of that med because of the [edited by moderator] weight gain that had happened since getting prescribed this in a short time frame.

That's amazing they cared about weight gain. I put on 30 per cent of my body weight over 3 years yet there was never any reference to that except to just eat a bag of carrots.
