I dont Know
I am an alcoholic and Dopamine addict. I have ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and CPTSD.
I feel so behind in everything I do, although I may work a good job all of that money is spent on self-soothing. Although I crave not to be alone, immediate release calls to me dearly. I have had so many chances, and yet I can't seem to get past this ritualistic habit of self-sabotage.
I am in no position to have relationships, yet they constantly plague my mind. I need to work on myself and work to be content, yet it is so overwhelming on my own. I feel like I need to be constantly monitored, and yet I have no time for that.
I am lost, and although I am out of a 9-month spiral, I can feel my mind start to slip into self-centredness yet again. Feels like a battle of excuses within my mind, a loop of insecurity for things I do not know and for things I have not tried.
Yet a denial of responsibility to be content with the now and make the changes for the future. I think I am held back in the sense that I wish people could understand me, yet this alienates people, and that alienation makes doubt and urgency more apparent; in turn, I alienate myself further in a vicious loop.
I am stuck in this battle of self-soothing and distraction; it has turned me into a selfish person whom I do not respect. I have been stuck like this since I was 15, and I am just lost. I can feed myself a thousand reasons why, a thousand valid excuses. Yet this is self-soothing, and I am held and stuck in the past.
I don't know what I am doing, and since I was a kid, all I wanted was someone to rescue me and hug me when I was overwhelmed. Yet If I cannot do this for myself, then how can I expect someone else to?
