My psychosis

I can feel myself start to fall

And I get into a big panic

So to stop this from happening

I start to clean

But then I start to get manic

My auditory hallucinations are present

And they play a very big part

For when they do appear

Is when my psychosis starts

I can feel each body sensation

But at the same time I feel distant

But things can change very fast

And my mood gets bad

in a striking instant

I get so very angry

Which leads to me getting violent

I don’t get physical with people

But rather objects that stay silent

I get very mouthy

And I can really swear

I do get told people to cool it

But stop me they don’t dare

When my mind starts to get foggy

I go up to the bush

I will sit and smoke illegally

Which then leads me

Sitting very sleepily on my tush

But smoking illegally

For my psychosis it is bad

As it Affects my brain

And sends my mind even more mad

I will be gone for a long time

And the police will be called

For my loved ones are afraid

For my mind will fall even more

I have been in the situation

of being non compliant with the police

so I have been pepper sprayed

which isn’t very nice

I have been taken by ambulance

to the hospital

For a psychiatric evaluation

And because my psychosis is so bad

To the psych unit I did go

For psychosis validation

So in the psych unit

In my psychotic state

With great strength

I kicked down the doors

I just wanted to escape

I have been jabbed with a needle

Full of medication

As because of my psychosis

I so needed sedation

I do come through it

Well I do eventually get

And With therapy to help with my psychosis

in my minds eye I am set
