Something’s not right

life fatigue

life fatigue

i would have never expected semester breaks to be wake up calls that im lacking in experience, achievements or productivity

traditional social media feels like a curse with everyone flexing, particularly when i was socially withdrawn earlier this month

i hate hustle culture, life feels mundane with how competitive opportunities like jobs are

is anyone willing to share how they escaped hustle culture? some advice or first hand experience would be appreciated

Hey @moodyahhhhh

I too hate hustle culture. It feels like a race to nowhere that I don’t want to participate in. I think spending time away from that side of social media is the best for my mental health (instead focusing on dog content 😊). I think it helps for me to remember that I don’t want to the be best or have the most stuff. I just want to be happyish (easier said than done). Spending time with the people I love also makes things easier. It’s really easy to compare yourself to others but I don’t think it’s particularly productive. As said in Bluey “run your own race.” Find the things you are passionate about and do them. You’re the only one who will ever live your life so there’s really no way for you to do it wrong.

I feel that that's me "hustle culture" @Lapis_Anteater @moodyahhhhh

When I think about it, I spent so many of my years hidden and not accomplishing anything due to depression and anxiety, so that now, the pendulum has swung the other way and it's go go go.

How're things going for you @moodyahhhhh ?
