So I found the easier way of working out my pain is to change the question from why do I still have pain from Trauma to a question of what happened to me. After looking at pain associated with holding the trauma and being in flight, freeze ( or fight mode).The body is constantly held ready! Ready to ACT. Ready to flee, ready to .... So tension builds even if you don't think your doing this. Dreams can trigger it. Sounds can trigger this. Cortisone pumps through your body in readiness. Even when you don't need it to. It's so use to it you do it in your sleep, in your day. It's stuck in always being ready. So tension builds. This is what I have learnt.

Pain follows from being so tense.

@Just,

I have the same issue. I have pain all over. In my wrists and ankles. My calfs and back plus feeling fatigued on top of it. The physical symptoms are not pleasant at all. My body feels like it wants to shake. Trapped emotions?

Trapped emotions. Body memories. Or not acknowledging parts.? All a mystery to me. Maybe one day I will work it out. @Misty7 @isty
