* Trigger warning (maybe)

* Yes I'm safe

* No i'm not going to do anyrhing right now

* Goal of post is to get others opinions

Hi all,

Sorry if the bullet points above are not the correct ones - I can't remember what I'm meant to do. Sorry if this post breaches the rules - I dont understand how they work. Also, sorry about the mangled post title - tried to fit a lot in a small character limit. Sorry if this queston sounds too provocative, it's honestly not my intention.

Simple thought I can't shake: the 'solution' to C-PTSD is intense and long term therapy. Various websites recommened 1.5hrs a week, plus lots of 'home-work' like journaling and excerises, etc, for at least 2 years, probably more.

Now, I can't afford this <censored by mods, replaced with:> 'and I'm finding it difficult to to see a future'.

I understand the response might be "you can recover on your own without this intensive therapy" but the chances seem very, very low and I don't want to "gamble" on that (and arguably have been trying hard to do that for a long time already with no results).

Any ideas on how I can get out of this mindset? IE how can I unconvince my brain of this logic? Is it even healthy to unconvince your brain of logic?

Many thanks

Perhaps https://www.phoenixaustralia.org/treatment-and-support/ may give you some new leads.
