Re: Hyporcrites

Hey @Dude-420

It sounds like you are carrying an incredibly heavy load right now. Between managing your own mental health and the immense pressure of caregiving for your mother and others in your family, it's understandable that you feel pushed to your absolute limit.

It is clear that you are working really hard to set boundaries for your own well-being, even when you feel those around you don't understand or respect those choices. Balancing your personal health while being a caregiver is an exhausting challenge (I myself am a caregiver to my partner and am trying to manage my own mental and physical health). Your feelings of frustration are so valid.

To help ease some of the pressure, I've gathered a few resources that might offer some support for what you have been going through:

  • Carer Gateway (1800 422 737) is a national service that can help you find practical support, such as respite care, counselling, and help with cleaning and shopping, to take some of the weight off your shoulders.
  • Relationships Australia (1300 364 277) can offer support and advice on navigating difficult family situations if you feel overwhelmed by family dynamics.
  • Lifeline (13 11 14) and Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636) are available 24/7 if you need to talk to someone right now.

Please remember that you don't have to carry all of this alone; we're here for you.
